Pictured above is John Sotheran (on the right) happily receiving a cheque for £269 for Shrewsbury Mencap from Mary Anne Richey President (2013/2014) of the Shrewsbury Amateur Operatic Society.

Mary Anne is also the President of Shrewsbury Mencap and is involved in several other local charities. The money was raised from raffles held during the recent performances of ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ by the Society at Theatre Severn.

Mary Anne, as outgoing President, elected to help 5 local charities by these generous donations.
